PhD candidate David Malka, Prof. Doron AUrbach (Chemistry), Uri Chervin AND DROR SOFER
A stored energy and charging system for urban light-mobility fleet operators (bikes, scooters), which reduces urban chaos and doubles fleet return on assets. Based on proprietary technology, BikeHive’s energy storage is dramatically faster-charging, longer-lasting, lower-cost, and environmentally friendly.
Prof. Sol Efroni, Dr. Alona Ziberberg, PhD candidate Hagit Philip (Life Sciences, all)
A companion diagnostic service for precise targeting of immunotherapy clinical trial candidates and patients, for superior standard of care and toxicity results. Based on T-Cell Receptor (TCR) repertoire distribution in correlated pathologies, uses RNA sequencing and artificial intelligence algorithms.
Dr. Sharon Cohen and Prof.
Orit Shefi (Engineering).
A nerve regeneration device that replaces costly, painful and lengthy nerve transplantation with a bio-safe nano-engineered implant that induces nerve regeneration. Initially focused on peripheral nerve damage, accidental or collateral damage of surgery.
A “societal health” tool, combining virtual reality content and companion pedagogy, to effect strong emphatic response to bias and prejudice by being “in the shoes” of subjects. Prototype sexual harassment content tested on hundreds of teens with a highly positive report on results by the Henrietta Szold Institute. Targeting corporate Human Resources and Community Relations to positively impact corporate workers and school students at once.
PhD candidate Elad Segal (Chemistry) and
Dr. Ran Shauli (Humanities)
An “evidential insight” service for environmental litigators, which scientifically tracks drift of hazardous materials to population centers, based on chemical sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms. Initial focus is on volatile organic compounds (VOC) including pesticides like glyphocet.

Pentaomix provides pathologists with superior analysis at unprecedented accuracy with a proprietary hyper-spectral imager. Spectral data across the biopsy slide, which cannot be observed with the eye, is for the first time observable and fully integrated into the pathology lab workflow, enabling faster and more reliable diagnoses of malignant cells and tissues at new histology and cytology standards.
