Unbox Ventures, established five years ago at Bar-Ilan University, enables and supports scientist entrepreneurs to achieve global positive impact by solving some of the greatest challenges facing humanity. We have reviewed more than a hundred startup ideas, coached more than thirty teams, and founded a dozen deep-tech startups with exceptional funding and technology transfer terms.
Our scientist entrepreneur mission has been validated by a growing portfolio of healthcare, agriculture, and food startups that have raised investments from such investors as NFX, Viola Ventures, Grove Ventures, Sapir Venture Partners, Secret Chord Ventures, and Sir Ronald Cohen.
Five years later, as a partnership between Bar-Ilan University and Mivtach Shamir Holdings, Unbox Ventures is extending an enriched venture building platform beyond Bar-Ilan University to the broad community of Israeli PhD graduates, offering a rare opportunity for aspiring scientist entrepreneurs to change the world for the better.
